Structurally, a yacht made of carbon fibres is very stiff, a characteristic that will be particularly noticed on rough seas. The keel is fixed to the hull by means of a wide flange to a compact section of laminate reinforced on the inside by a mesh of ribs. Partition panels are made as sandwich structures of the same materials as the hull, creating a sturdy structure.
